Sioux Lookout Recreation Centre will remain closed for a few more weeks to complete essential renovations.
Over $28,000 of new additions and equipment have been put toward the building this summer.
The facility has been closed since June 10 and will remain closed until August 23 due to delayed contractors and suppliers.
Some of the major renovations include door access controllers, new flooring, wall paddings and fresh paint.
There is also new equipment in the centre such as three new treadmills, new leg press and leg extension machines, kettle ball sets, stretching mats and weight plates.
Membership packages for new and existing members aim to be available for pickup on August 12. They will provide information on the facility and amenities.
