The Director of the Sunset Country Travel Association does not feel the September 11th attacks are playing a major role in the lack of attendance at Sports Shows south of the border.
Jerry Cariou says the Chicago Sports show he recently attended had terrible attendance, but there are other factors than the ripple effects of the terrorist attacks.
Cariou says the economic slowdown on both sides of the border is hurting attendance.
As well, he says other social factors played a role in the Chicago show.
