A road-side check by the Ministry of Natural Resources and OPP officers
found that 94% of anglers were obeying the rules.
Officers spoke to 933 non-resident anglers on Highway 502, south of
Dryden last Friday.
The MNR says 21 charges were laid for over limits of fish and
packaging violations.
Police issued 13 tickets for open liquor, possession of radar
detectors and seatbelt violations.
