Making a false statement to Dryden Police has resulted in charges against a 28-year-old man.
Thanks to public information and a Police investigation, the Dryden man confessed to fabricating a false report of a theft and assault in the King Street Subway on February 21st.
The accused now faces counts of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and public mischief in relation to a domestic dispute.
Dryden Police want to thank the public who come forward with information as in recent weeks their help has proved the truth in a number of alleged incidents.
