A Few More Details on Proposed Casino

The Province has been asked for permission to go ahead with a feasibility study for a Conference Centre-Casino in Dryden.
Ellis Gaming is working with Wabigoon Lake First Nation on the initiative.
Dryden City Manager Arie Hoogenboom says Council has also given their blessing and is confident the Province will keep an open mind.
Should the study determine the proposal is worthwhile, the City would then consider endorsing it.
The request has been sent to the Province.
Hoogenboom says no written agreement is in place but they may look at opening space for a faciliity at Eagles Landing Golf Course or along Highway 17.
Mayor-Elect Anne Krassilowsky has already voiced support for a Conference Centre-Casino.
