A look at the Local NDP Candidates

The Liberals handling of the local economy has gained the attention of the Provincial NDP candidates in Northwestern Ontario.
Kenora-Rainy River incumbant Howard Hampton says Southern Ontario is starting to feel our pain because of the thousands of job losses in the auto sector under Premier McGuinty.
The NDP Leader says there is still hope for the forest industry but progress can only be made with a change in Government policy
John Rafferty is representing the NDP in Thunder Bay-Atikokan and says the other parties are ignoring the forest industry and job losses.
Both Rafferty and Hampton are promoting a seperate electricty grid for Northern Ontario.
