2008 was cool and relatively dry in the Dryden area.
The Dryden area was 0.6 degrees below average in 2008.
CKDR Meteorologist Bill Laidlaw says that is a significant cooling.
The warmest day in Dryden was August 31st when the thermometer reached 31.5.
The coldest day was February 11th at minus 37.3 degrees.
Laidlaw says as for total precipitation, the area saw a total of 641-millimetres of water equivalent, which is on the low side.
