A Reminder To Clean Your Chimney

Wabigoon Fire Prevention Officer Richard Wetalainen is reminding homeowners to check and clean their chimney and heating appliances.
Chimney fires are common during the fall as the weather cools down.
The reminder follows a Tuesday night fire near Wabigoon that destroyed a mobile home.
Wetalainen says inspections should be carried out at least once a year.
