The Dryden Ice Dogs are showing their support.
On their November 3rd home game against the Fort Frances Lakers, the Dogs will raise awareness for the Soldier-On Fund, a program that rehabilitates injured soldiers through sports.
General Manager Brad Boyko says the players won’t be in their typical jerseys that night.
Instead they will be wearing military jerseys, and selling them at the end of the game.
The jerseys will be on sale for 200 dollars each, but donations will also be accepted.
