A Thumbs Up For Aboriginal Health Care Centers

Treaty Three Grand Chief Warren White is stressing the importance of quick access to health care for First Nations.
White says in a time of need they should be able to get the care they need close to home. White says it’s comforting to have centers close to home that balance traditional and western medicine. He adds that the centers benefit elders who prefer to stay in their communities to access health care.
Last week Aboriginal Affairs Minister David Zimmer announced 2.3 million dollars in funding the the health centers in Kenora and Fort Frances.
