The owner and operator of the Fort Frances mill has been slapped with a $125,000 fine.
Abitibi-Consolidated was fined for a violation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act that caused injuries to 2-workers and a student.
The company pleased guilty to failing to ensure that a tool was not used on a paper machine back in August 2008.
The 3-people were injured by an arc flash while working.
The two electricians suffered first, second and third degree burns.
A student who was watching them suffered first-degree burns.
