Repairs have been completed to a leak in an Abitibi effluent line near downtown Fort Frances.
Abitibi Environmental Services Director Gary Rogozinski notes the leak occurred after joints loosened on the fiberglass line.
Rogozinski adds the reason for that is not known since the line was inspected just last week.
The mill’s three paper machines were shut down yesterday as a result of the leak but are in the process of being restarted today.
