Aboriginal Advisor in Place

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is welcoming a new
Aboriginal Advisor.
Laverna Greene of Shoal Lake will be responsible for helping the
Board draft strategies to help First Nation students.
Director of Education Janet Wilkenson says the position has been
needed for some time.
Wilkenson says Greene will focus on cultural awareness programs and
aboriginal youth forums in Secondary Schools.
