Liberal Aboriginal Affairs Critic Carolyn Bennett is learning about area First Nation concerns from Chiefs and health care providers.
The Toronto MP spoke in Thunder Bay on the Liberal party’s approach to public health and improvement of social conditions for Aboriginals.
Bennett calls it a learning tour and notes her party feels consultation is key.
She adds they really have to focus on the things that keep people healthy, especially in remote fly-in communities in northern Ontario.
