Ontario’s Aboriginal Affairs Minister has wrapped up a tour of Northern
Ontario with the message that the living conditions on some First Nation
reserves is “offensive” and “unacceptable.”
Michael Bryant says it doesn’t matter that reserves are a Federal
responsibility.
Bryant says one reserve doesn’t even have a school and that’s
unacceptable.
He says the province will do what it can to improve the living
conditions for aboriginal people and improve economic development in the
North.
