Aboriginal Culture Highlighted at Literacy School

Summer literacy students in Dryden were treated to a presentation Thursday about aboriginal education and art.
Larry Beardy spoke with the students going into Grades 2,3 and 4 at New Prospect School.
Beardy says he uses interactive activities to teach kids about aboriginal culture.
Beardy also emphasized the importance of aboriginal teachings in area classrooms.
He says he’s impressed how quickly the young kids picked up on his teachings.
