Aboriginal Issues Take Center Stage

The Federal Minister of Indian and Northern Affairs feels his government is making progress on aboriginal issues.
Chuck Strahl was in Kenora Tuesday to meet with Conservative Party faithful and local band chiefs.
Strahl says the release of the Conservative platform shows the Harper Government does take aboriginal issues seriously.
Strahl suggests the Harper government is willing to put more money on the table to deal with aboriginal issues then the Liberals watered down version of the Kelowna Accord.
