Aboriginal students in Northwestern Ontario have a chance to receive $2,500 towards their education.
The Forest Products Association of Canada is out with its Skills Award for Aboriginal Youth.
Spokesperson Monica Bailey says their focus is attracting more aboriginals to the forestry sector.
Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years-old who are currently enrolled in an apprenticeship program, in college or university.
Bailey says the forestry sector needs to recruit 60,000 workers by 2020.
