Aboriginal Youth to Receive Mining Training

The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund is delivering $638,000 to the Red Lake Indian Friendship Centre to offer a training program.
The centre, in partnership with Placer Dome’s Campbell Mine, will
offer a mining training program to up to 120-aboriginal youth.
The program will help youth acquire the skills needed to enter the
mining industry and worker close to home.
