The province and the Chiefs of Ontario are forming a better working relationship.
Both parties signed a political accord recently.
Premier Kathleen Wynne says it’s very clear they will work with regions about their issues.
Wynne, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs David Zimmer and the Anishinabek Nation held meetings in Thunder Bay to discuss the accord and what they want to accomplish with the partnership.
