Acknowledgment for Hydro Rates

Ontario’s NDP leader says it may be too little too late.
Speaking in Thunder Bay, Andrea Horwath says the Government’s budget has finally acknowledged that industrial hydro rates are too high.
However, she says the 25-percent rate reduction should have come years ago.
As for the tax credit for Northerners, Horwath says it will not begin to make up for the extra money we will pay as the result of the HST.
The energy credit would give up to 200-dollars for low to middle income families.
