Adam Leon A Free Man

The man who made international headlines by stealing a plane from Confederation College’s flight school in Thunder Bay and flying into the United States without permission is now free and clear.
The incident happened in April 2009.
An Ontario Superior Court has granted Adam Leon an absolute discharge.
His lawyer Neil McCartney originally asked the court to treat Leon’s case as “double jeopardy” since he was already charged and served time in the United States.
