OPP have laid additional charges against Dryden-area man Bruce Montague.
The 45-year-old now faces 29 firearms, explosive and other weapon charges when he appears in Court on November 15th.
Police executed a second search warrant of Montague’s home last month and discovered a hidden room.
OPP say Officers found in excess of 100 firearms, 25,000 rounds of ammunition, over capacity magazines, silencers, semi-automatic assault rifles including one which was loaded with a barrel-mounted laser sight and silencer, an uzi submachine gun and two sawed off shotguns.
Police say explosive related material was also seized including a detonator cord, electrical and non-electrical detonators and several manuals on making homemade explosives.
The Canadian Unregistered Firearms Owners Association has been using Montague’s case to launch a constitutional challenge against Canada’s gun laws.
