By week’s end, at least 334-Ontario firefighters and support staff will be in British Columbia, helping in the fight against forest fires.
Ministry of Natural Resources Information Officer Debbie McLean says that Province is currently dealing with volatile conditions, and notes they can afford to lend a helping hand.
233-Fire personnel are currently out west and another 100-are expected to head out Thursday.
Ontario has played an active role in B.C. for the past 7-weeks.
