A pretty good turn-out in the Kenora Riding in the advance polls.
Elections Canada says polls set up over the Thanksgiving long weekend attracted almost 4,400 people.
That’s way up from the last election in 2011, when there were just over 2,800 votes cast.
That’s a 65% increase, which is similar to the numbers seen nation-wide.
There was a 71% increase in voting in the advance polls this year across Canada.
