The American Hockey League may be coming to Northwestern Ontario
Former Research in Motion executive Anthony LeBlanc has announced his intention to bring an AHL club to Thunder Bay.
The fight for a team would come only after a $150-million bid to buy the NHL’s Phoenix Coyotes is approved by a U.S. bankruptcy judge on August 5th.
The Coyotes AHL affiliation with San Antonio expires in 2011.
