The Dryden Airport saw some different kind of flying action over the weekend.
Air Cadets from Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Fort Frances got to experience flights over the Dryden area in two person planes.
Captain Ron Gillespie says the flight adds some practice to all their book work.
Gillespie also says this is the first time they did this in our area, and they hope to do it more in the future.
Kailey Barnes from Sioux Lookout participated in the flight and she said it was a great experience.
Barnes also said she was able to steer the plane for a while, an experience that would be hard to have without the Air Cadet program.
