The Dryden Regional Airport showed off its newly paved main runway at a
special ceremony last week.
The Feds spent $3.5-million on the improvements and Mayor
Anne Krassilowsky says the upgrades will help ensure the Airport remains a
safe and economically viable facility.
Krassilowsky says the enhancements ensure that Dryden remains
open to the world for another 30-plus years.
Kenora MP Roger Valley says the facility is an integral part of the
local economy.
The rehabilitation project was completed in the summer and officials
managed to avoid major delay’s.
