It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Albert Barboni, age 76 of Dryden, who passed away on Tuesday January 31st, 2012 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.
Albert will be sadly missed by his sons Brad (Marlene), Rick (Mel) and 7 grandchildren, his brother Bill (Millie) Barboni. He leaves behind his longtime friend of 25 years Marion, her 4 children and grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents Carlo & Giovanna Barboni.
Albert’s passions in life were camping with his trailer club, fishing and hunting. Albert worked for Dryden Paper operations in Dryden for 41 years, than spent 10 winters in Arizona, where he met all his Mill buddies and made many new friends.
In accordance with Albert’s wishes there will be no Visitation, as cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday February 6th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home’s Chapel with Father Norbert Eyule officiating.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memoriam donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association through the Dryden Community Funeral Home 249 Grand Trunk Ave. Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
