An Alberta man is in custody following a police chase on Highway 17.
Provincial Police say they tried to stop a stolen vehicle in Ignace Tuesday, when the driver sped away.
Officers lost sight of the car but later found it and identification believed to be from the suspect on a side road in the area of English River.
The next day OPP received another report of a stolen vehicle that was east bound on Highway 17 in the same area.
Police found the suspect on a bush road west of Upsala.
OPP say 37-year-old Jeffrey Naveau of Edmonton faces two charges.
