All major highways in northwestern Ontario are open this morning.
Most major arteries were closed for a lengthy period of time Sunday due to poor road conditions.
Highway 17 between Vermilion Bay and Kenora was closed for roughly 8-hours due to several transports and vehicles in the ditch and jack-knifed tractor trailer units blocking the highway.
Provincial Police say it took some time to get the transports moving again due to the icy conditions.
Highway 502 between Dryden and Fort Frances was also closed for several hours overnight.
The 502 was finally re-opened around 4:00 this morning.
Highway 105 was also closed for a period of time.
No major collisions or injuries have been reported.
Police are asking motorists to slow down and take it easy.
Traffic is already being delayed in Dryden this morning due to a jack-knifed transport on Highway 17 near the cemetery.
