All Is Quiet On Forest Fire Front

Good news on the forest fire front.
With the cooler and wet weather, there has not been a forest fire since Monday, which was spotted in the Nipigon District.
There are now only eight active fires in the region.
Dryden has one, Kenora has four, Nipigon has two and there is one in Thunder Bay.
The official end to the forest fire season is October 31st.
