A Southern Ontario MPP has stepped up the fight for a
government-led series of public hearing on Aboriginal land
disputes.
Progressive Conservative member Toby Barret tabled a
private members resolution calling for an all party
standing committee on first nation land issues.
Barrett says hearings could benefit the Grassy Narrows
and Big Trout Lake First disputes.
