All Quiet On Forest Fire Front

The forest fire hazard is low to moderate in Northwestern Ontario.
There are currently 58 active fires in the region.
Two new fires have been reported, one near Dryden and one in Nipigon.
Dryden crews are dealing with a small a grass fire along Highway 17, about 30-kilometres west of Vermillion Bay near Stewart Lake Road.
Dryden has now had 40 forest fires confirmed this season.
499-fires have sparked across the northwest this year.
