Alleged Sexual Assault

A 30-year-old Osnaburgh First Nation man has been arrested after an alleged sexual assault in Sioux Lookout over the weekend.
OPP say the incident occured in Centennial Park on Front Street just after midnight Saturday.
Police say the accused threatened the victim with a knife, and punched her in the head before having forced intercourse.
Gilbert Ash is in custody on charges of assault, sexual assault, choking and uttering threats.
Ash appeared in court earlier today.
No word on his next date in front of the judge.
