The winter weather forecast has been released by the Old Farmer’s Almanac.
Jack Burnett is a Spokesperson for the publication and says as always Northwestern Ontario is a tough location when it comes to predicting weather patterns as it lands inbetween the Manitoba and Ontario predicitions.
Burnett says the entire is region is set for a cold winter, peaking out in January as temperatures are forecasted to be 5 degrees below normal.
He also notes that although we will see less snow throughout the season, we can expect plenty of sleet and freezing rain as the seasons change both at the start and end of the winter.
