It’s almost time to light up the night with the Festival of Trees in Dryden.
The week long fundraising event at the Centre begins Saturday at 6:30 with a special Christmas Concert.
Coordinator Colleen Hill was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Thursday and she says all money raised supports Patricia Region Seniors Services community programming.
Hill says they offer a number of services including a Life Enrichment program, Meals on Wheels, supportive housing, transportation, Phillips Lifeline, home health, community home maintenance as well as numerous other programs supporting seniors.
There will be a Penny Auction and donations are welcome for the Dove Tree in memory of a deceased loved one.
Event tickets are available at Patricia Gardens, Lotto One, the Centre, Michelle’s Top Drawer and Calypso Hair Fashions.
Another feature is the Ella Lynn’s Fashion Show.
