It is with great sadness that the family of Alvera Gillis, age 64 of Dryden, announce her passing away on Sunday July 10, 2011 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre after a courageous battle with cancer.
Alvera is survived by her beloved husband Stuart; children Victoria (Gary) Munn of Unity, son Richard (Smitty) Behrmann of Edmonton, Michelle (Craig) Hutchison of Dryden, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, brother Ernest of Swan River, sisters; Doreen of Swan River, and Audrey of Victoria. She was predeceased by her parents Henry & Millie Behrmann.
There will be no Visitation, as cremation has taken place.
Interment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memoriam donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society through the Dryden Community Funeral Home 249 Grand Trunk Ave. Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
