The Dryden Grace Haven Community Centre is promoting a major program
as part of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month.
The service allows caregivers to drop off seniors suffering from
Alzheimer’s in order to receive a break.
Manager Julie Makar says seniors take part in various activities in
order to connect them to the community.
The program is offered every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Grace
Haven and each Wednesday at Patricia Gardens.
Makar says although they are close to capacity, the program is still open to anyone living with the disease.
