A Province-Wide Amber Alert has been called off as two Kingston boys allegedly abducted by their father in eastern Ontario today have been found safe.
York region police now have the father in custody after pulling over the suspect vehicle.
The two boys, aged 5 and 3, became the objects of the Amber Alert after they were taken from the Children’s Aid Office in Kingston Monday morning. The Province-Wide Amber Alert was issued shortly afterward, as officials believed the vehicle might be heading for Saskatchewan.
