Getting Amber Alerts out to as many people as possible will be easier now that Facebook is part of the process.
The program gets out news of a missing child in the first hours of their disappearance.
With this new agreement, once an AMBER Alert is issued, it’s sent directly to Facebook and then distributed with any available information, including a photograph of the child, the suspected abductor and/or description of the vehicle and its license plate number.
