Ambulances, Not Airplanes, Fill Dryden Airport

The tarmac at the Dryden Regional Airport was transformed into a training facility last week.
The Kenora District Services Board conducted training for over 100-land ambulance paramedics.
Trainer Cindy Auger says it was a chance for paramedics to fine-tune their driving skills.
Auger says a major component of the training was helping paramedics deal with distractions.
The KDSB says this is the first time current paramedics in our area received training to further develop their skills.
Operations at the Airport weren’t impacted during the course.
