Spring has sprung in Eagle River thanks to the community’s volunteers who have combined Easter and Spring in their latest creative display that welcomes everyone to the community!
Thanks to the volunteers including Connie Calvert who sent along the following words and pictures for all to enjoy…..
Regardless of how unpredictable, the weather is doing its thing,
Barb and Warren’s bunnies and Linda’s artwork welcome Spring!
Spencer is dressing her Mandalorians and they look so cute,
They don’t mind as long as they can still compute.
Debbie’s tree is ready to show off its hue,
All dressed in bright colours and a ribbon of blue.
Nita and Janet’s tree hides a cute little bunny,
Such pretty colours make us feel sunny!
Zach and Zoe show off their tree,
Nice bright colors for all to see!
Bob, Carm and Ursula dressed trees with bright yellow, blue and pink,
The bunny is peeking to see what they think.
We can’t miss the hall to add to the season,
Linda’s artwork definitely added the reason.
This will be our last display this year for you,
Please come out and enjoy what we do.
But most of all, for the support…we very much THANK YOU!
Born in Cochenour a “few” decades ago, he lives and breathes Sunset Country. He's been on-air for CKDR and you for over 38 years and by his own admission he's still trying to get it right! When not on-air Richard likes to cosplay as 'Spider-Dad McCarthy'. Listen weekday mornings from 6 to 10 on CKDR and on 'the web' at YourSunsetCountry.ca. Find out what's happening in Sunset Country with McCarthy In The Morning.
