A recent Ministry of Natural Resources road check near Fort Frances found that 95% of anglers were obeying the law.
Officers stopped 500-vehicles on Highway 11, most of which were from out-of-Province.
5-charges were laid and 15-warnings were issued.
Violations included over limit of fish, packaging fish so they could not be readily counted, failing to produce a valid fishing licence and transporting fish illegally.
