The bugs are starting to become a problem in the bush and that means animals are coming out onto roadways again.
OPP in the Rainy River District are reminding us to be alert when driving in rural and wooded areas and be conscious of wildlife.
A number of vehicle and deer collisions have been reported over the last few days but no one has been seriously hurt.
Police say following posted speed limits should provide drivers a suitable reaction time necessary to safely avoid a collision with an animal that wanders onto the highway.
