Animal Cruelty Charges in Ignace

Two animal cruelty incidents in Ignace have landed a woman in hot water with the OPP. On July first a large Bull-mastiff accessed a residential property and killed a smaller dog…an investigation led to the owner Tamela Inkster of Ignace to be charged with two counts under the Dog Owners Liability Act. On July 12th SCPA contacted Ignace OPP in relation to an animal cruelty situation. OPP were led back to Inkster who was then charged with Animal Cruelty under the criminal code and will appear in court on August 30
