Wildlife played a factor in more then half of motor vehicle collisions
in Northwestern Ontario last month.
OPP investigated 268-highway collisions in June and about 55%
were animal-related.
Officials say a majority of the crashes with moose and deer occured
at night or just before dawn.
Police note excessive speed was also a factor.
