Anishinabek Honors Residential School Survivors

The Anishinabek Nation will hold a ceremony on Monday honoring survivors of Indian Residential Schools.
Grand Council Chief Patrick Madahbee and other chiefs will be unveiling a monument at the head office of the Union of Ontario Unions in Nipissing First Nation.
Chief Madahbee says it will also mark the launch of a narrative picture book and online education resources that tell the truth of the residential schools.
