Annie “Granny”Green

The sun has finally set for one of the greatest knitters in the Red Lake area. It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Annie Green, age 92, at the Northwood Lodge in Red Lake Ontario on August 6th, 2012.
She leaves to mourn her children Jack (Sharon); Susan (Tony) DeSantis; Anne Lee; Robert (Eileen) and Judith (Jim) Valiant. Annie also leaves her grandchildren: Cheryl, Gregory, Patricia, James and Arthur, as well as 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for the late Annie Green will take place Saturday, August 25th at 1 pm in the Chukuni United/Anglican Church with Reverend Mark Loyal officiating. A private family interment will follow in the Red Lake Cemetery.
