Another Call To Improve Trans-Canada

The Township of Machin is asking municipalities across Northwestern Ontario to support a resolution to improve the safety on the Trans-Canada highway between Vermilion Bay and Kenora.
Sandra Walkey is the reeve of Machin and says the resolution not only asks for improved enforcement of traffic traffic on Highway 17, but she would like to see it double-laned.
The resolution has been passed to the Kenora District Municipal Association and Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association for approval.
